The Klamath Forest estate encompasses265,000 acres of high-quality stands consisting primarily of Douglas-fir, ponderosa pine, true firs, incense cedar and other mixed conifer and hardwood species. The Klamath Forest estate stretches from Mount Shasta, California into Southern Oregon.

ABOUT THE KLAMATH FOREST

ACER Klamath Forest, LLC was formed in 2021 by New Forests to manage the day-to-day operations of the timberland estate purchased from Fruit Growers Supply Co. and Michigan-California Timberlands. Klamath Forest operates with a long-term time horizon, seeking to ensure a combination of ongoing timber supply as well as climate mitigation through practicing climate-smart forestry. The estate includes multiple-use management objectives, reflecting the interests of Klamath Forest’s owners to generate combined economic, environmental, and social benefits from responsible forest management.

FWS Forestry provides forest management services on behalf of Klamath Forest.
